What does “OEM” mean?
“OEM” refers to original equipment manufacturer cartridges (i.e., cartridges that contain their original manufacturer’s packaging) bearing the trademark of the company that manufactured and/or markets printer and toner cartridges under the same brand name.
New OEM Cartridges
InkMart carries OEM cartridges on our website, but unless indicated as Genuine OEM, cartridges on our website are either new compatible or a factory remanufactured cartridge.
New Compatible Cartridges
Our new compatible cartridges are produced by our ISO 9002/14001 and STMC Certified facilities are manufactured with new and recycled parts. The percentage of new vs. recycled parts varies from model to model. In most cases, the only parts reused are the outside casing. These new compatible brands are produced under stringent quality controls and are built to meet or exceed the OEM's specifications. This means simply that our cartridges deliver the highest quality print and yield page output at a reduced cost over an OEM.
Factory Remanufactured Cartridges
Our factory remanufactured cartridges are normally produced using reused cartridges. Each cartridge is thoroughly bathed in eco-friendly cleaning solvent and then ultrasonically cleaned inside and out. All internal parts are inspected and replaced if needed (drums, blades, rollers, seals, etc.) To properly refill a cartridge requires a strict balance between ink flow, vacuum and pressure; this can only be performed properly at certified manufacturing facility. Very high tech refilling machines and trained technicians are needed to accomplish this task. The results are premium remanufactures cartridges that deliver performance equal to new at even greater savings.
Are all compatible toners cartridges the same?
Absolutely not! Unless a cartridge is manufactured within an ISO/STMC certified facility, inconsistency in quality will always be in question. Businesses that simply refills ink & toners cartridge cannot perform the quality cleaning and inspection procedures needed to meet OEM specifications.
Do using compatible or remanufactured cartridges void a manufacturer’s warranty?
No in fact, Congress passed a law to make it illegal for a manufacturer to force you to buy certain supplies. If allowed, this would lead to a monopoly, high prices and lack of competition. (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act)
Am I really helping the environment by using remanufactured cartridges?
Definitely, as remanufactured cartridges are made from empty collected cartridges your lowering the impact on the environment:
- 70% to 90% of the components from a recycled cartridge are used again.*

Is Toner dangerous for your health?
Be very careful when handling laser toner or toner cartridges. Toner cartridges typically contain tiny particles or fibers and often become airborne. If inhaled these particles could be dangerous to your health. Don’t try and refill cartridges yourself without the proper training and equipment.

What if I experience a print quality issue?
If one of our cartridges doesn’t meet your expectations, simply notify your customer service representative. Place a page sample of the print quality in the box with the cartridge and mark it appropriately. Return to us for replacement and evaluation.
What are the warranty terms and conditions?
All InkMart imaging product are 100% Guaranteed to meet or exceed the specifications of the higher priced manufacturer’s brands, producing the same print quality and number of page count output. We guarantee each cartridge to be free of defects in both material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If any imaging product is found to be defective it will be replaced or a refund will be issued.
Under normal use, InkMart’s imaging products will not cause damage, abnormal wear, or deterioration to any printing mechanism. If a defect in a cartridge causes a machine failure, all reasonable service and repair costs will be reimbursed provided a written service report states that the cartridge is the sole cause of damage. The service report must be from an InkMart authorized service technician, signed and dated.
It is recommended that routine maintenance is performed on all printing devices in accordance with the manufacturer recommended schedule. Liability shall be limited to replacement or reimbursement as stated above. This warranty is exclusive and takes place of all other warranties, expressed or implied.

Ordering
InkMart accepts all major credit cards and eCheck transactions through PayPal.
Order Cancellations
Orders are placed and sent to the distribution center for immediate processing and shipping. Because of this, we cannot cancel, add to, or make changes to orders once they are placed. If you do not wish to receive the order, refuse the package at the time of delivery and your account will be credited. We strictly adhere to this policy in order to provide prompt delivery service to our customers.
Backordered Items
If you order an item that is currently on backorder, you will receive an email notifying you which item is on back order and the estimated time of delivery. All other items you ordered will be shipped. When we receive the backordered item, it will be shipped next day for no additional charge.
Delivery Policy
An estimated delivery date will be provided after your order is placed. These dates vary due to carrier shipping practices, delivery location and the items you order. Delivery dates noted apply to orders placed by 5:00 p.m. EST and where credit approval and product availability are confirmed by 5:00 p.m. on the same business day that the order is placed. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, except holidays.
Next-Day Shipping
Cut-off Time for Next-day Delivery is 12:00pm EST.
Free Delivery
Delivery is free on all orders over $50, excluding custom products. Custom products include stamps, printing, and promotional products that a customer may personalize with a company name, logo or message.
Mail Drop
A "Mail Drop" location is an address where a business or service accepts mail deliveries on behalf of a customer. InkMart will deliver to Mail Drop locations such as a UPS Store (formerly Mail Boxes Etc.). However, we are unable to deliver to Post Office Boxes.
Shipping Internationally
InkMart does not currently ship outside the United States.
FAQs’ Returns
Return Policy
Product purchased from InkMart which is defective can be returned for an exchange or store credit for up to one year from the invoice date. Any product return for reasons other being defective, may be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, and is subject to a restocking fee of 20%. A return authorization form (RA) must be submitted to return/exchange products. Return Authorization Form link. You can contact your local sales representative to assist with your returns.
Returns
After you or your sales representative submits an RA Form, you will receive your RA number via email within a few business. RA numbers are valid for 15 days after they are issued. Pre-paid labels will be provided for InkMart shipping errors, and defective products only.
Please identify your return item clearly by placing the RA number on the outside of the Shipping Box only, not the item product box.
- All returned products must be in their original packaging.
- All non-defective returns must be in resalable condition to receive refund. Do not write, place stickers, tape, etc. on the original packaging as that will make it not resalable.
- All non-defective returns will be assessed a restocking fee.
- Special order items and discontinued items are not returnable.
- Items that are determined to be more than 25% empty will not be accepted, and will be charged to your account.
- Refunds will not be given for returns found not to be defective.
Replacements
Replacements will be sent out immediately free of charge once the Return Authorization Form has been submitted. If the original return is not received within two weeks, and in resalable condition, as described above, the cost for the replacement item will be charged to your credit card or account.
